GuiDANCE

Novice & Junior level Dancers who wish to begin Demonstrating or Senior dancers who wish to Assist may apply to the GuiDANCE Program.

Dancers will learn and experience techniques of teaching and advanced training.

Students must be currently enrolled in the genre they wish to assist in and have taken that genre for a minimum of 2 years prior to applying.

Dancers must observe a high standard of dance class etiquette and studio respect as role models to the younger generation of dancers.

Dancers will receive Dance Pedagogy lessons periodically throughout the year and discounts on Intensive training sessions offered at the studio

Senior dancers in the Guidance Program will have the opportunity to instruct classes at CDL’s PD Day camps.  Classes will be observed and feedback given by Connectivity Instructors to help dancers develop teaching skills

GuiDance dancers who have successfully completed their Grade 6 Cecchetti exam will be recommended to the ESB Junior Teacher’s Certification course and may be eligible for CDL’s Aspiring Assistant Scholarship Award.
