Competition Information

Our goal at CDL is that all dancers have a positive learning experience from competitions, that dancers gain performance skills and always do their own personal best.

Below are some details to assist you in making an informed decision about your child’s competitive dance experience this upcoming year.
Rehearsals: Additional rehearsals for solos/duets or small groups to learn choreography will be held on Saturdays and Sundays beginning in September.  We will also fill any open spaces during the week to accommodate busy schedules where possible.  Please email info@connectivitydance.com

The Annual CDL Company In-Studio Competition will be held on Sunday February 11, 2018   ALL Competitive dancers MUST attend.  This competition will take place at The Maclab Centre forr the Performing Arts, in Leduc, with guest adjudicators from the Edmonton area. It provides an opportunity for dancers to space dances on a professional stage prior to competitions.  Dancers are not adjudicated by their regular weekly instructors or choreographers, feedback from other professionals is a great asset for competition readiness.

This is a public event for parents, family and friends of CDL dancers.  This is also a great time for parents to meet and to arrange possible car-pooling and accommodations for competition.
